My initial observation of DMD was the significantly higher tenure of people working here; everyone I asked had worked here for at least 5 years. In a profession marred with high attrition rates, I felt that the firm’s culture must be conducive to professional fulfilment. Over the years, while I worked on some of the most interesting cases, I witnessed first-hand the supportive culture cultivated by the partners and the collaborative spirit of the entire office. For a young professional, there is no greater advantage than being part of such a cohort, and I now make it a priority to ensure that the younger members of my team share a similar experience.
